Mentorship Applications Due

Women in Business’s Mentorship Program is a semester-long opportunity that matches you with a successful businesswoman. Through one-on-one meetings and coffee chats with your mentor, you will learn from her experiences and gain a more comprehensive understanding of your chosen area of business and/or your career goals. Throughout the semester, you will have the chance to connect with other mentors and mentees in the program, receive guidance on your professional plans, and attend exclusive workshops to acquire skills in business etiquette and networking. This program is recommended for underclassmen seeking to broaden their understanding of business.

Women in Business’ Nashville MakHERs Market is a mission-driven pop-up marketplace featuring Nashville’s female-owned businesses and university artisans while also supporting vulnerable women in our community. At least 10% of each seller’s proceeds from the event go towards supporting Thistle Farms, a social enterprise which ensures access to safe and supportive housing, financial independence, and a lifelong community of support for female survivors of trafficking, prostitution, and addiction. This is a one-of-a-kind market seeks to support of a great cause and uplift female community members and businesses, further integrating Vanderbilt into the greater Nashville area! This market will take place outdoors on Magnolia lawn at Vanderbilt University from 12-4pm!
