Career Carnival
At our annual Career Carnival, 70 students can explore various industries within business. The event features five distinct stations encompassing consulting, marketing, entrepreneurship, human resources, and finance. Each station hosts local businessmen and women, as well as a Vanderbilt faculty member, serving as experts to offer personalized insight and advice for a given industry.
Business Slam
We partnered with the Vanderbilt Career Center to host our first annual Business SLAM in Fall of 2017. At this fast-paced, fun, and casual networking event, each company representative has 45 seconds to pitch to a room full of students why they should work for their company. After all pitches, the companies break out to tables to continue to conversation. With 20 firms and a variety of industries represented, we have attracted more than 300 students to learn about roles in finance, consulting, sales, marketing and more. Companies represented included Bain & Company, JPMorgan, and Colgate-Palmolive. The second annual Business SLAM took place in Fall of 2018.
