Meet the Mentors! Spring 2020

by Gabrielle Warren

Vanderbilt Women in Business kicks off our Mentorship Program for Spring 2020 very soon! The program is entirely revamped for this semester, pairing aspiring female businesswomen (calling all Vandy ladies!) with mentors in the Nashville community. Through a series of workshops—covering everything from How Do I Write This Professional Email to a Professional and Sound Professional to What on Earth is Snappy Casual and Do These Black Jeans Count—mentees will learn how to navigate networking relationships and develop useful professional skills. Mentees will be able to learn and grow from their mentor throughout the semester and celebrate at the end with a final banquet (catered food included, of course). Before Mentorship begins, we are proud to present:

Our Mentors–

Nicole Blom is the Director of HR and Talent Management at ReviveHealth.

Lauren Mellott is a Credit Support Manager at Caterpillar.

Anna Vija McClain is the founder and CEO of Piccolo Marketing.

Alex Fisher is a Senior Associate at Frost Brown Todd.

Erika Weeks is the Director of Sustainability at Hastings Architecture Associates.

Lacey Firestone is a Retail Industry Client Leader at IBM.

Laura Lemon is the founder of Lemon Laine, a natural beauty and wellness shop.

Suzanne Reed is the Director of Marketing for LBMC, a Tennessee-based CPA firm.

Christine Owenell is the founder of Owenell Consulting.

Cherrie Wilkerson is a former Bain consultant and executive educator, who now directs the the Master of Science in Finance program at Vanderbilt’s Owen School of Management and teaches several courses within Executive Education.

Carolyn Greenfield founded and owns Carden Avenue Jewelry.

Lily Hansen is a writer, journalist, and visual artist who, among other things, has written two books.

Julie Lilliston is the Founder and President of a public relations and marketing firm in Nashville.

We are beyond thrilled to introduce these incredible women, and even more excited to see what this semester’s program has to offer both mentors and mentees!
